This course is designed for students who want to develop their practical floristry skills, creativity, and confidence in creating a range of floral designs. Throughout the course, learners will explore key floristry techniques, develop an understanding of design principles, and gain hands-on experience producing floral arrangements for different occasions and purposes.
Students will learn about the features of effective floral design, including colour, texture, balance, and composition, while developing their knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials used within the floristry industry. The course will also introduce learners to flower care, handling methods, and preservation techniques to help maintain the quality and longevity of floral arrangements.
In addition to practical lessons, students will receive individual tutorials and careers advice sessions throughout the course. These sessions provide valuable support, helping learners reflect on their progress, develop their skills further, and explore future opportunities within floristry, creative industries, or further study.
