Yes. Although the programme is full-time, students typically attend campus for just 1–2 days per week, with the remaining learning completed through independent study, making it easier to balance work and personal commitments.

Yes. From Level 5 onwards, you'll need to secure a counselling placement independently. You'll also require individual supervision during your placement, and some organisations may require a DBS check.

Graduates can progress into counselling roles within healthcare, education, charities, community organisations and private practice. Completing the degree also makes you eligible to apply for individual membership of the BACP, supporting your professional development within the counselling sector.
