Our onsite hair and beauty salons at East Coast College provide students with the opportunity to develop their practical skills in a real working salon environment. The salons are open to the public, offering a wide range of affordable treatments delivered by our talented students as part of their professional training.
All treatments are carried out under the guidance and supervision of our professionally qualified tutors, who bring valuable industry experience to support and mentor students throughout their learning journey. Our aim is to provide students with the skills, confidence and industry knowledge they need to achieve their qualifications and progress successfully into their chosen careers.
Our clients are an essential part of the learning experience and play a vital role in helping students build their confidence and refine their techniques. As appointments form part of the students’ training, we kindly ask clients to allow additional time for treatments to be completed. Treatment availability is dependent on student timetables and course requirements.
For all hair and beauty colour services, a skin test must be completed at least 48 hours before your appointment.
Alongside our salon treatments, we offer a selection of vegan and professional retail products. Our students are trained to provide product advice and recommendations, helping them develop their consultation and retail skills as part of their salon education.
