East is the Lowestoft Campus training restaurant, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy high-quality dining experiences while supporting the development of the next generation of hospitality professionals.
Open every Wednesday from 12pm–3.30pm and every Thursday from 12pm–9pm, East provides a welcoming restaurant environment where all food is prepared and served by our full-time Catering and Hospitality students as part of their industry-focused training.
Recognised for its outstanding standards, East has been described by Places and Faces magazine as “one of the finest dining experiences around”. The restaurant has also achieved a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for two consecutive years and holds a five-star food hygiene rating.
Our students gain valuable practical experience by preparing and serving food to members of the public, developing the skills, confidence and professionalism needed for successful careers in the Hospitality and Catering industry.
Guests can enjoy a varied menu while helping students build essential workplace skills in a realistic restaurant setting.
