This course is ideal for those who have a passion for working with children and supporting their academic, social, and personal development. It is designed for learners aged 19 and over who are looking to develop a career in supporting teaching and learning within schools and colleges.
You will gain a CACHE Level 3 Certificate/Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning, providing you with the skills and knowledge required to work alongside teachers, support students, and take on roles such as a cover supervisor, where you can supervise learners and classes in the absence of a teacher.
Delivered by experienced teachers and assessors, this course will provide you with guidance and support throughout your studies. You will have the opportunity to rebuild your study skills, achieve your full potential, gain a professional qualification, and progress towards a range of exciting career opportunities within education.
The course is delivered on a part-time basis and takes place one evening per week. If you are not currently employed in a school setting, you will need to arrange a voluntary placement of at least one full day per week. You will also be required to complete a DBS check, which is usually arranged in partnership with your placement school.
