Please note, this course is only accepting applications from learners aged 16 - 18, as well as those up to the age of 25 who hold a current EHCP.
This course is designed for students who are passionate about supporting young children's learning, development and wellbeing. Combining classroom-based learning with extensive industry experience, this qualification will equip you with the knowledge, practical skills and confidence needed for a career in early years education.
As you progress, you will specialise in early years education, learning how to plan, deliver and review engaging play and learning experiences that support children's individual development. You'll also develop the skills to become a reflective practitioner, enabling you to continually improve your practice and provide high-quality care and education.
Your studies will take place in The Hive, our purpose-built simulated early years learning environment, designed to replicate real childcare settings both indoors and outdoors. This immersive space allows you to put theory into practice in a safe, supportive environment before applying your skills in the workplace.
A key feature of the T Level is the substantial industry placement, where you will complete a minimum of 750 hours with an employer, such as a nursery, preschool or primary school. This invaluable experience enables you to apply your learning in a real setting, build professional confidence, develop the skills employers are looking for, and achieve your Early Years Educator licence to practise.
