Please note, this course is only accepting applications from learners aged 16 - 18, as well as those up to the age of 25 who hold a current EHCP.

This course provides learners with essential hands-on skills in professional nail and beauty treatments. You will develop techniques in gel and acrylic nail enhancements, creative nail art, and high-quality manicure services, building a strong foundation in the latest industry practices.

Alongside nail expertise, the course introduces additional beauty treatments including lash lifts and brow shaping. These skills help you expand your service range and prepare for the varied demands of the beauty industry.

Gain valuable real-world confidence through practical work experience and opportunities to take part in national competitions. You will develop creativity, professionalism, and the confidence needed to succeed in a fast-paced beauty environment.

Course Information

Four GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and Maths.

There is continuous assessment of each unit. You present evidence of competence via practical assessments and production of a personal portfolio of evidence.

On completion of this course, learners can progress into further study within beauty therapy, specialist nail qualifications, or related areas of the beauty industry. The skills and experience gained can support progression into roles such as nail technician, beauty therapist, lash and brow specialist, or salon assistant, with opportunities to develop a career in professional salons, freelance services, or self-employment.

This course covers a range of practical and creative modules designed to develop essential skills for the beauty industry. Learners will study gel and acrylic nail enhancements, creative nail art techniques, manicure services, lash lifts, brow shaping, client care, and professional salon practices. The course also includes opportunities to develop industry confidence through practical experience, competitions, and applying skills in real-world settings.
