This pathway combines mechanical and electrical engineering, giving you hands-on experience designing, manufacturing and assembling engineering products using industry-standard equipment, including HAAS CNC machines.
Based in our industry-standard workshops and £11.3 million Energy Skills Centre at our Lowestoft campus, you'll learn through practical sessions, classroom-based engineering and maths, employer visits and work experience opportunities. With strong links to local engineering employers, you'll have the chance to gain valuable industry experience and explore apprenticeship and career pathways. You may also have the opportunity to visit sites such as Bacton Gas Terminal and Sizewell Nuclear Power Station and complete the Duke of Edinburgh's Award to further enhance your CV.
