You will need at least Level 1 English for this course.


You will be assessed from your final portfolio submission at the end of the course.


This course supports progression into Access to HE courses and degree programmes including Access to Humanities, Access to Counselling, FdA Social Welfare, Advice and Guidance, BSc Applied Psychology and BA Person-Centred Counselling.


The course is made up of a range of modules designed to develop your knowledge, skills, and understanding of health, social care, and social work practices. You will study key areas such as safeguarding, communication within care settings, healthcare principles, and the roles and responsibilities of professionals working across the sector.
