This course is £222.50, however, fee remission maybe available subject to your personal circumstances and residency requirements (for non UK Nationals).

This course provides learners with an introduction to the adult social care sector, developing an understanding of different job roles, services, effective communication, and the importance of person-centred care. It helps learners build the knowledge and awareness needed to begin exploring a career in social care.

Alongside the taught sessions, learners will receive individual tutorials and careers guidance to support their progress. On completion, learners can progress to a range of Level 1 qualifications or further study opportunities.

Course Information


A sufficient understanding of maths and English Language is needed to cope with the demands of the course. All students will undertake diagnostic assessment to assess these skills during the course interview or induction process and you will be required to demonstrate that you can work at Level 1.


Formative assessment will take place throughout the course with a final portfolio of evidence produced at the end. There are no examinations on this course.
