The course is designed to provide you with the practical, critical and theoretical tools required by the contemporary visual effects and post-production industries. You will develop the problem-solving and reflective abilities necessary for study and subsequent work within the industry. The programme has a focus towards film and television post-production, colour grading, multi-platform editing, and compositing combining 2d/3d animation and visual effects.

The course will be moving into a new purpose-built HE Centre in Great Yarmouth - The Place. This will be a state-of-the-art facility very close to amenities and transport links. The new premises will have access to state-of-the-art technological systems including Immersive media and Virtual Production, an area of growth in the industry.

Whilst this is a full-time course, typically this course generally only requires 1-2 days on campus attendance, supported by self-directed study. This means you can continue to work alongside your studies and balance other commitments.
