Our Beauty Therapy courses are designed to develop the practical skills, knowledge and confidence needed to perform a wide range of professional beauty treatments to industry standards.
Training takes place in our commercial training salon, East Academy of Hair and Beauty, where you'll gain valuable hands-on experience working with members of the public in a realistic salon environment. Depending on your chosen qualification and level, you may study facial skincare, waxing, eyelash and eyebrow treatments, manicures, pedicures, electrical face and body treatments, and body massage.
Alongside practical training, you'll build your understanding of anatomy and physiology to support safe and effective treatment planning. You'll also have the opportunity to complete the Eco Salon online course, helping you develop sustainable working practices and a greater awareness of environmental responsibility within the beauty industry.
Our salons are equipped with modern, industry-standard equipment, and you'll work with professional products used by leading salons, ensuring you're prepared for employment or further study.
To enhance your learning, we encourage you to complete a work placement alongside your course. This provides the opportunity to develop your technical abilities, professionalism and employability skills in a real workplace. We have strong links with local beauty salons and spas and can help you secure a placement that supports your career goals.
