The BA (Hons) Literary Studies with Creative Writing degree offers a stimulating and wide-ranging introduction to English literature and creative writing. You will have the opportunity to study and interpret literature from different historical periods and diverse cultural settings and to develop writing skills in several genres including fiction; poetry and life writing. This will develop a wide-range of sophisticated reading and writing skills across literary, creative and non-fiction genres, different formats and contexts.
Whilst this is a full-time course, typically this course generally only requires 1-2 days on campus attendance, supported by self-directed study. This means you can continue to work alongside your studies and balance other commitments.
