This course has been developed to provide an arts-based progression route to honours level for those who have completed a Foundation Degree (or equivalent), whether this is media-based, fashion, photography, fine art or other forms.

The structure of this programme blends practical and exhibition/project work with the in-depth study of contextual issues in the art world. We hope to deliver a diverse learning opportunity that will enable you to develop skills whilst gaining an academic understanding in your arts practice. We also hope that you will emerge with knowledge, skills and understanding which will benefit you throughout your career.

This Progression Route is a one-year course for those who hold a relevant Foundation or equivalent to gain a BA (Hons) degree.

Whilst this is a full-time course, typically this course generally only requires 1-2 days on campus attendance, supported by self-directed study. This means you can continue to work alongside your studies and balance other commitments.
