Successful completion of the course can enable progression onto degree programmes including the FdA Social Welfare Advice and Guidance, FdA Children's Care, Learning and Development, and FdA Children's Health, Play and Wellbeing. These programmes provide opportunities to continue your academic journey through the Level 6 progression year, leading to the award of a BA (Hons) in Applied Care Practice.
The course is also ideal for students who are interested in progressing into careers such as teaching, care management, social work-related roles, health and wellbeing services, or wider social science pathways. Throughout your studies, you will develop an understanding of key issues affecting individuals, families, and communities, while building the academic, communication, research, and reflective practice skills required for further study and employment.
