Engineering FAQs


East Coast College offers a range of engineering courses including Level 2 and Level 3 Engineering programmes, a T Level in Maintenance, Installation and Repair (Mechatronic), City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Engineering – Machining, and Higher National qualifications in General Engineering.


Engineering courses are available at the Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft campuses, with specific courses offered depending on the level and programme chosen.


Students may study topics including health and safety, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, engineering science, mathematics, engineering design and engineering projects. Course content is designed to build both practical abilities and technical understanding.
